KRPS Charity Concert in Australia postponed till October
SOME disappointing news for fans looking forward to the KRPS Charity Concert, which has been postponed till October.
As reported earlier, the concerts were slated to take place in Sydney on July 28 and Melbourne on July 29.
Concert organiser Aus2One Entertainment broke the news last Wednesday, saying the concert would not go ahead “due to unexpected circumstances with artists and flights”.
But in a later interview with Hellokpop, AUS2One Entertainment’s Helen Le revealed the concert had been cancelled due to a variety of reasons, including poor ticket sales and a number of sponsors pulling out.
“There’s just not that much time for us to organise for it to go along,” she told Hellokpop.
Ms Le said ticket holders had the option of getting a refund, and Aus2One Entertainment was also prepared to refund airfares and hotel bookings for fans who had already made plans to travel interstate to catch the shows.
“We just feel so bad for having to break those announcements,” she said in the interview.
The venue for the October show is expected to remain the same in Sydney, but no venue has yet to be confirmed for Melbourne.
More details to come.
