Career workshop: How to ace the job interview
TAKE part in a fun and interactive career workshop that will help you gain confidence in a job interview. It’s free!
Together with Chai Junction, ID Live and the Arrow Neighbourhood, Meld Magazine will be hosting a free career workshop on Thursday May 16 for international students and fresh grads looking to sharpen their job interview skills.
Unlike traditional classroom-style learning, this is a workshop that is aimed at giving participants as much hands-on practice as possible, and is useful for those looking to find casual work, internships, or that coveted first job.
Take part in facilitated group discussions, be exposed to different interview scenarios through role play, and receive feedback from professionals in the industry.
Over drinks and nibbles afterwards, learn to network and socialise and gain confidence in your people skills.
There’ll be prizes up for grabs too, and goody bags to take home!
So how much does it cost?
It’s free! Though a gold coin donation at the door on the day would be much appreciated.
We’d also like to thank our major sponsor Western Union for helping us make this event a reality.
The career workshop will be held on Thursday May 16 from 6pm to 8.30pm at Winners Hall, Arrow on Swanston, Ground floor, 488 Swanston St, Carlton.
Seats are limited, so do register early to avoid disappointment. If you have questions, or would like more information, head to our Facebook events page or email events@meldmagazine.com.au.
